美國光學學會OSA (Optical Society of America)，創立於1916 年，乃是為了推廣及增進光學科技的知識理論及應用目的所組成，促使研究光學科學的專業人員，光學儀器及設備的設計者與使用人員，不僅能對光學產生更廣泛的興趣，也能增進相互合作的機會。
